Hello Miller Community

This is Jessica Brenden, Principal of Miller Elementary School with your weekly Miller message.

This week at Miller, spring has sprung!  All of us are glad to see a little sunshine and warm weather.  If your kids are taking out the warm weather clothes, there are a couple of things to remember when preparing for school.  Shorts and skirts must reach past the length of the fingertips when the child is standing with hands hanging at his or her sides.  Tank tops are not to be the “spaghetti strap” style.  Also, shoes must secure around the heel—flip flops without a back strap are not a safe option for school.  Thanks for your help with keeping our students safe and focused on learning.

There aren’t any special events at Miller this week for the students, but we will be enjoying a visit from the Interim Superintendent, Dr. Paula Radich on Thursday and a visit from Ken Parshall, assistant superintendent on Friday. We are looking forward to those visits!  Also, we still have Entertainment cards for sale for $5.  Those can be obtained in the Miller School office.  Thanks for reading and MOVE to greatness!
