This week at Miller, we are getting ready for a movie night on Friday.  The movie will be “A Christmas Carol” with Jim Carrey.  Bring blankets and lawn chairs and your family for a great time!  Admission is free and doors open at 6:15 and the movie starts at 6:30.  Because this is a family movie night, students will not be admitted without an adult.

In other news, if you are in need of holiday assistance, please connect with our counselor, Ms. Rost, before Friday at 3:00.

Also, we are preparing for a winter concert on December 9 at 6:30.    In addition to the concert, we have a gift for you.  We have reserved time with a professional photographer to take family photos.  He is not charging anything for his services and will provide an electronic copy of the photos so you can have them printed in any size you would like at your favorite photo developing place.  Special thanks to Ms. Rost for setting up this amazing opportunity for our families!  Photos will be AFTER the Winter Concert, starting at 7:15.  Come dressed for the occasion!

We also have a food drive under way.  Please send any donations to school with students.  We will accept New, unopened, non-perishables with labels intact only.  Government commodities will not be used.  The Grade level to fill their can first will have a dance party with Mrs. Brenden and Ms. Rost.

If you are looking for a perfect gift for your child, our Student Store is having a Black Friday sale for the entire month of December!  Sweatshirts will be $15 for youth sizes and $25 for adult sizes.  Student store will be open for the assembly and the movie night which are both on Friday.

Finally, I want to remind you that attendance is important!  Students can still fall behind if they miss just a day or two every few weeks.
