Good evening, Miller Community!  This is Jessica Brenden, Principal of Miller Elementary School with your weekly Miller Message.  This week at Miller, we are continuing to work through the testing for our third, fourth, and fifth graders!  They are doing a great job at staying focused, getting lots of rest, and doing their best.  Thanks for all of the support you continue to give them!  In other news, thanks to our relentless Mrs. Caudillo, we now have raised enough money to give a yearbook to all students at Miller at NO COST!  Be sure to return the yearbook permission form so your child’s picture can be included in the yearbook, AND be sure to give Mrs. Caudillo a big old “THANK YOU” for all of her hard work!  Also this week, we are celebrating our first Spirit Day of the 15-16 school year!  Tomorrow is HAT DAY for all students and staff.  All can wear their very best hats to school tomorrow.  Again, Hat Day is tomorrow, Wednesday, April 13.  Thanks!  Next, don’t forget about our Jog-A-Thon coming up!  Our goal is to raise $8000 for our school to be spent on technology, guest speakers, or other cool supplies for teaching and learning!  Try to raise $20; if we all do that, we will SURPASS our goal!  Finally, we have a motorcycle show coming up on May 13.  There will a barbecue and some fun carnival games.  If you know of anyone with a motorcycle, invite them to come on down to Miller the night of the 13th and show off their bike!  The more the merrier!  Again, the Motorcycle Show, put on by the Disabled Veteran’s Motorcycle Club is Friday, May 13 at 5:30 in the evening here at Miller. Thanks for listening and have a great evening.
