This week at Miller, we are excited for McTeacher Night!  It is tomorrow, December 2 from 4-7 at the McDonald’s on Rickey Street.  Help us meet our fundraising goal of $1200 for Outdoor School!  See you there!

Also this week, the bookmobile is coming for our first graders.  We are excited that they get to experience the bookmobile and have a connection to the Salem Public Library!

In other news, butter braids and cookie dough gets delivered NEXT Friday, December 11th.  Orders can be picked up here at school at the end of the day.  If you have a little time to help out with distribution, we could use some assistance from 2:30 to 4:00 on that day.  Thanks for considering!

Additionally, don’t forget about the food drive happening now through December 11th.  Non-perishable items in their original container will be accepted through then.  Students can bring in items any time, or if you have a bulky package, feel free to make a delivery to school and we will get it to the classroom barrel.  Thanks for helping take care of those who are less fortunate in our community!

Finally, I wanted to make sure you knew about the upcoming Winter Music Extravaganza here at Miller at 6:30 on December 16th.  The Miller Choirs, Miller Band, and 4th grade Orchestra will be performing.  The FOLLOWING night, December 17 at 7:00 at Houck Middle School, the 5th grade Orchestra will perform.  Be sure to add those to your calendar!
