We had a great time at the Celebration of Learning and the Talent Show.  We are so grateful to the students who bravely shared their amazing talents with our school. We are also grateful for such an involved community!  The hallways were PACKED for the first hour of the Celebration of Learning:  thanks so much for your support for the students!

This week we are gearing up for conferences, which are Wednesday night and all day Thursday.  Please take note that there is no school on Thursday or Friday, and that next week is Spring Break.  We will all return to school on March 28.

Finally, it is important to know that this month, we are focusing our efforts on Optimism.  This means that we all need to model optimism for students.  One way to do this is by encouraging students to have a growth mindset:  for example, if a child can’t ride a bike and they are complaining about it, you can re-frame their thinking by saying “You can’t ride a bike YET, but you can learn!”  Building optimism in students is a way to prepare them for life beyond school!
