We had a great time last week at Read Across America Day and at the Family Movie Night. THanks for participating and making these events fun and memorable!

This week is a big week for Miller.  First of all, if you would like to help transform Miller from a school to a Museum of Learning, we are going to do that in a block of 45 minutes on Wednesday evening.  From 5:30 to 6:15 volunteers will hang student work on our walls to prepare for the Celebration of Learning.  All are invited to this fun volunteer opportunity and sneak preview!

Currently, we have a dollar fundraiser going on for our PTT called “Can you spare a dollar?”  This fundraiser has been extended and the due date is now Thursday, March 10.  Again, the dollar fundraiser is continuing through this Thursday, March 10.

Also, you will want to be sure to plan on being at Miller on Thursday night for our first annual Talent Show at 4:00 and our Celebration of Learning at 5:00.  All students will have work and your Optimism Cards on display and staff members will be circulating to answer questions.  Our Celebration of Learning will conclude at 7:00, so be sure to allow yourself enough time to peruse the whole school!

You should also be aware that next week is spring conferences.  The scheduling information was in Tuesday folders, so be sure to check for communication from school.

Finally, you should know there is no school NEXT Thursday, March 17, because of conferences and no school for anyone next Friday, March 18.  Again, no school for kids March 17 and 18.
