This week at Miller, we are preparing to honor our students who showed excellent “nurturing” skills last month.  Each month we have an assembly to recognize our students who are great examples of our character trait for the month, and our next assembly is Friday.  If you need a “pick-me-up” assemblies are a great way to do just that!

In other news, there are quite a few things happening next week at Miller.  On Monday is the last Parent Teacher Team meeting of the year--it is at 3:30 in the library and we will be planning for field day!

Also, Kindergarten Orientation is next Thursday, May 12 for all of our incoming kindergarten families. That event starts at 6 and ends at 7 PM.

The BIG event next week is the motorcycle show being put on by the Northwest Veterans Motorcycle Club.  They are hosting a BBQ, photo booth, and there will be some carnival games. If motorcycle owners would like to enter into the show, the cost is $5 and all are invited.  Other cost information can be found at the Miller Facebook page.  100% of proceeds will be donated back to Miller.  Again, the big motorcycle show is Friday, May 13 in the evening here at Miller.
