Weekly Update - November 3, 2015

This week at Miller, we have our first Family Movie night of the year.  We are showing “Inside Out” in the gym on Thursday night.  There is no admission for entry and concessions are available for purchase.  There are no chairs in the gym, so bring blankets or your favorite lawn chairs.  The doors open at 6:15 and the movie begins at 6:30.  See you then!

Also, our school is in the midst of a butter-braid-cookie-dough fundraising sale!  Think about a delicious butter braid fresh out of the oven on Christmas morning, or taking some warm cookies to a neighbor in need!  You can make all of those a reality with a purchase on your child’s order form!  Orders are due November 16 and will be delivered on December 11.

Next, you are probably looking for your weekly update on attendance and I have good news to share!  Attendance has improved to 95.3% and FRIDAY attendance has improved a little!  Way to go Mammoths!  Let’s try to get Friday’s attendance rate to 94.5% by the end of November!  There are only two more school Fridays in November, so this is an ambitious goal, but I KNOW we can do it!

I also want to remind you that Family-Teacher conferences are coming up. Watch for scheduling information. Finally, I want to remind you that there is no school on Friday, November 6 for Grading Day, and there is no school on Wednesday, November 11 for Veteran’s day.
